Who we are
Pakistan's Leading Disability Organization
Pak Ever Bright Development Organization (PEDO) is Pakistan’s leading disability organization, serving persons with disabilities (PWDs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Since 2009, based in Peshawar, PEDO is a registered non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to disability inclusion, equal rights, and community empowerment. Through our flagship programs ATMIS (Assistive Technology Management Information System), KHUDDAR digital skills, Disability Resource Centers (DRCs), and the Free Wheelchair Mission, PEDO has transformed thousands of lives across KP. We provide free assistive devices, inclusive education support, skills development for PWDs, and disability certificates in collaboration with the KP Government. Our mission is the mainstreaming of persons with disabilities in Pakistani society through advocacy, capacity building, and disability-inclusive development.
Promote Access to Person's With Disabilities
PEDO, as the voice of disabled people, has made a significant contribution to the advancement of Pakistan’s disability bill, which is currently in the legislative process.
Strategy
PEDO is envisioned to advocate the society about the rights of persons with disabilities; lobbying with policy makers in public, private and development sector for inclusion of persons with disabilities in overall development process; raising awareness and conducting consultations for empowerment of person with disabilities.
