Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student should have equal access to education, opportunities, and a supportive learning environment. I want to contribute to creating greater awareness about disability inclusion and help ensure that students with disabilities are treated with dignity, respect, and understanding.
As a BS (ICS/IT) student at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I am interested in using technology and digital resources to support accessibility and inclusion. I would like to help students with disabilities learn about available facilities, assistive technologies, academic support, scholarships, career opportunities, and other resources provided by the DRC and the university.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would also like to act as a bridge between students and the Disability Resource Center by listening to their concerns, sharing important information, and helping them connect with the appropriate support. I would encourage students with disabilities to participate confidently in academic, extracurricular, technological, and professional activities.
This opportunity would also help me develop my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills while allowing me to contribute positively to my university community. My goal is to help promote an inclusive and accessible environment where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
