Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student deserves equal opportunities, respect, and access to an inclusive learning environment. I want to contribute to creating greater awareness about disability inclusion and help students with disabilities feel supported, confident, and valued within the university community.
As a student of the Department of Plant Protection at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I understand the importance of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and community participation. I would like to use these qualities to support the Disability Resource Center (DRC) and promote awareness about the rights, needs, and opportunities of students with disabilities.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would help connect students with the DRC, share information about available support and services, listen to their concerns, and encourage them to participate in academic, extracurricular, research, and career development activities. I would also work with fellow students and university staff to promote a respectful and accessible environment.
I see this opportunity as a chance to serve my university and develop my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills. My goal is to contribute to a university culture where disability is understood with respect and where every student has the opportunity to learn, participate, and achieve their full potential.
