Why I became a PEDO Ambassador

I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that education should be accessible and inclusive for everyone, including students with disabilities. As a member of the University of Agriculture, Peshawar community, I would like to contribute to creating greater awareness about disability inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities within the university.

I want to support students with disabilities by helping them understand the resources, facilities, and opportunities available through the DRC and the university. I would also like to encourage students to confidently participate in academic activities, research, extracurricular activities, and other opportunities without feeling limited by disability.

As a PhD scholar in Animal Nutrition, I understand the importance of learning, research, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. I would like to use these skills to promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion. I also believe that an ambassador can play an important role in connecting students with the DRC, communicating their concerns, and encouraging the university community to work together toward a more accessible environment.

Through this role, I hope to contribute meaningfully to disability inclusion while also developing my leadership, communication, and advocacy skills. My aim is to help ensure that students with disabilities are recognized for their abilities and potential and have equal opportunities to succeed.
