Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that an inclusive university is one where every student has equal opportunities to learn, participate, and succeed. I want to contribute to promoting awareness about disability inclusion and help create an environment where students with disabilities are treated with dignity, respect, and understanding.
As a student of the Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IBMS) at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I am interested in communication, teamwork, management, and community development. I would like to use these skills to support the Disability Resource Center (DRC) and help connect students with disabilities to the resources and opportunities available to them.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would help raise awareness about disability rights, accessibility, academic support, scholarships, career opportunities, and other university services. I would also listen to students' concerns, guide them toward appropriate support, and encourage greater participation of students with disabilities in academic, extracurricular, and professional activities.
I see this role as an opportunity to serve my university and contribute to positive change while developing my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills. My goal is to help build a supportive and inclusive university community where students with disabilities are empowered to reach their full potential and are never left behind.
