Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student deserves equal access to education, opportunities, and a supportive university environment. I want to contribute to creating greater awareness about disability inclusion and help ensure that students with disabilities are respected, supported, and encouraged to participate fully in university life.
As a BS (ICS/IT) student at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I am interested in how technology can help improve accessibility and provide better opportunities for students with disabilities. I would like to promote awareness about assistive technologies, digital resources, academic support, scholarships, career opportunities, and other services available through the DRC and the university.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would like to act as a bridge between students and the Disability Resource Center by listening to students' concerns, sharing relevant information, and helping them connect with appropriate support. I would also encourage students with disabilities to participate in academic, extracurricular, technological, and professional activities with confidence.
I see this role as an opportunity to serve my university, support my fellow students, and develop my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills. My goal is to contribute to an inclusive and accessible university environment where every student is valued for their abilities and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
