Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student deserves equal opportunities, respect, and access to an inclusive and supportive educational environment. I want to contribute to promoting awareness about disability inclusion and help create a university community where students with disabilities feel respected, confident, and empowered.
As a student at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I want to play a positive role in supporting my fellow students and promoting a culture of inclusion. I believe that awareness and understanding are important steps toward removing the barriers that students with disabilities may face in their academic and university life.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would help students learn about the services and resources available through the Disability Resource Center, including academic support, scholarships, assistive resources, career opportunities, and other facilities. I would listen to students' concerns, help connect them with the appropriate support, and encourage them to participate actively in academic, extracurricular, and professional activities.
I also want to work with fellow students and university staff to promote respect, accessibility, and equal participation. This opportunity would allow me to serve my university while developing my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills.
My goal is to contribute to an environment where students with disabilities are recognized for their abilities and potential, receive the support they need, and have equal opportunities to learn, participate, grow, and succeed.
