Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student deserves equal opportunities, respect, and access to an inclusive and supportive educational environment. I want to contribute to creating greater awareness about disability inclusion and help ensure that students with disabilities can participate confidently in university life.
As a BS (Hons) Agriculture student at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I value teamwork, community participation, and cooperation. I would like to use these qualities to support the Disability Resource Center (DRC), promote awareness about disability rights and accessibility, and help students with disabilities connect with available resources and opportunities.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would listen to students' concerns, share information about DRC services, academic support, scholarships, assistive resources, and career opportunities, and help connect students with the appropriate support. I would also encourage students with disabilities to participate in academic, extracurricular, research, sports, and professional activities.
This opportunity would allow me to contribute to my university community while developing my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills. My goal is to help create a respectful and inclusive environment where every student is valued for their abilities and has an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
