Why I became a PEDO Ambassador
I want to become a DRC Ambassador because I believe that every student deserves equal opportunities, respect, and access to an inclusive and accessible educational environment. I want to contribute to raising awareness about disability inclusion and help create a university community where students with disabilities feel supported, confident, and valued.
As a BS (ICS/IT) student at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, I am interested in technology and its potential to make education and communication more accessible. I would like to help students with disabilities learn about available digital resources, assistive technologies, academic support, scholarships, career opportunities, and other services provided by the DRC and the university.
As a DRC Ambassador, I would like to serve as a bridge between students and the Disability Resource Center by listening to students' concerns, sharing useful information, and helping them connect with the appropriate support. I would also encourage students with disabilities to participate in academic, extracurricular, technological, and professional activities.
This role would give me an opportunity to serve my university while developing my leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills. I want to contribute to a respectful and inclusive environment where every student, regardless of disability, has the opportunity to learn, participate, and achieve their goals.
