Accessibility Awareness Disability Inclusion Session
IT Officer
Session for students as part of the Accessible Pakistan Initiative, led by Pak Everbright Development Organization (PEDO) and ATMIS.
The session focused on creating awareness about accessibility, disability inclusion, and the importance of building environments where everyone can participate equally and independently.
What makes this initiative special is that we are not only talking about accessibility. Through Accessible Pakistan, we are working to identify, document, and promote accessible places so that persons with disabilities can make informed decisions before visiting a university, hotel, mall, hospital, event venue, or other public place.
I am grateful to the teachers and students who participated, asked questions, and showed their support for a more inclusive society.
Accessibility is not a privilege. It is an opportunity for everyone to participate.
Let’s make accessibility visible, measurable, and achievable.
