ATMIS – Pakistan’s First Free Assistive Technology Platform for PWDs

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Pakistan have long struggled to access wheelchairs, hearing aids, crutches, and other assistive devices due to high costs and lack of awareness. PEDO’s ATMIS (Assistive Technology Management Information System) has changed this forever.

What is ATMIS?

ATMIS is an innovative digital platform created by Pak Everbright Development Organization (PEDO) that connects persons with disabilities directly to free assistive technology solutions. Through ATMIS, anyone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can apply online for free:

  • Wheelchairs (manual and electric)
  • Hearing aids
  • Walking frames and crutches
  • Ramps and accessibility equipment
  • Toilet support aids

How to Apply for Free Assistive Devices in KP?

Applying is simple. Visit pedo.org.pk/atmis-form and fill out the online form. For settled districts, apply at mis.swkpk.gov.pk/swkpk/dist_assist_disable. For merged districts, use the merged districts portal.

ATMIS represents a revolution in disability inclusion in Pakistan. For the first time, technology is being used to systematically track, manage, and deliver assistive devices to those who need them most.
